Now for something about us. We’ve been on stage for the last 20 years. We’ve managed to record 15 albums (including two cover albums). We like to spread acid and destruction! If there’s anything else, you want to know, check our biography or check what is served on our gigs!
Currently we’re charging our batteries for the upcoming concerts, yet our latest record (cover album Fishdick Zwei: The Dick is Rising Again) still echoes in our heads. Welcome!
Hereby we present you with a brief report of what was happening with the band after the premiere of Fishdick Zwei!
Right after the album saw its first ray of light, we went on a My name is Dick. Fish Dick. Tour 2010-2011. More than 20 towns were devastated and a couple of thousands of butts were kicked (for goodness!). We also managed to spread hell on the British Isles since we visited three towns. Still, its not the end and the tour goes on!
We are also proud to announce, that the very album met with very positive response, as it managed to be placed 3rd in Polish best selling albums ranking. The cover versions of Love Shack reigned the Polish Radio Channel 3 chart for three weeks, whereas Hit the Road Jack went high as to the 5th place. Those results are most precious to us, as the support of our fanbase is the fuel of our souls.
Also the Polish music industry marked its approval of our cover versions. We were granted with as much as six nominations for the Polish Music Industry award called Fryderyki 2011. Many other awards were taken in various charts and music periodicals.

One of the most respected rock bands in Poland, after inking a deal with Mystic Production is ready to present new studio album. Acid Drinkers new album, “Fishdick Zwei - The Dick is Rising Again”, hit the stores today via Mystic Production/Indie Distribution. Recordings took place in the first part of the year in Perlazza Studio with Przemysław “Perła” Wejmann as producer. Jacek Miłaszewski was responsible for mixing and mastering. Cover art was created by Bartosz Zielinski (Jokers Tattoo).
The band has recently recorded first video for the first single “Love Shack”, which quickly got almost 300 000 views on YouTube – you can check this here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKCl2QbiAkc
“FIshdick Zwei – The Dick Is Rising Again” two weeks after the release in band’s home country has reached position no.3 at official charts and is still in the Top 30 after 10 weeks!

The record is a sequel to 1994's “Fishdick”, which included cover songs of other artists. Every song features talented and successful artists from various background (i.e. Vogg of Decapitated, Czesław Śpiewa and others).

Acid Drinkers' new album, Fishdick Zwei - The Dick is Rising Again, will be released on September 1. The record will be a sequel to 1994's Fishdick, which included cover songs of other artists. "Love Shack" by The B 52's will be the first single with a guest appearance by Ania Brachaczek from Biff. In the following days a music video for this single will be released to the masses.

Fabryczna Art, known for their documentary about Acid Drinkers (“Chasing the Acids”) would like to invite everyone to the première of their new film entitled At Oglog with a guest appearance of Titus. The movie also features some well known Polish actors such as Mariusz Jakus and Mariusz Saniternik.
The first screening will take place on November 21 at 20:30 CET in Sala Nowa Centrum Kultury w Lublinie, Peowniaków 12 Street as a part of Międzynarodowy Festiwal Młodego Kina “Pełny Metraż 2009.”

October's over, but 20 Absolutely Wired Years Tour is still on. Some great guests are still to join us in celebrations. On Nov 14, 19 and 20 None will join us in Bydgoszcz, Jasło and Dębica respectively. Nov 15 means None and Freak in Bydgoszcz. None and Fate Unknown will also play in Bielsko Biała (Nov 21) and Opole (Nov 22).
Still, the best is yet to come. On Nov 18 a really big event will take place in Warsaw. Except for None, Los Pierdols and Fate Unknown, two former Acid Drinkers members, Robert 'Litza” Frierdrich and Przemysław 'Perła' Wejmann will join the band on stage and perform some of the old classics! They will also appear on Dec 15th in Wrocław.
So take another big dose of dog rock, join us and enjoy!

A little late update, but still update. A week ago Acid Drinkers celebrated their 20th birthday and therefore we'd like to give you maniax something special. The Bloody Neanderthal (as some call him), who was as a child fired from music school the one known as *Yankiel*, although his friends and family also refer to him as Wojtek Morytko, from now on can be officially recognised as one of the Acid Drinkers. This makes the band complete with a hell of a pro. We hope that all the fans, even those really old, will be glad to hear this news. There could be no other choice – professionalism, talent, respect and personality are the assets, which doubtlessly belong to all of the people, who make this Acid Adventure.

20 questions on 20th birthday
Acid's 20th birthday is getting near and therefore we have a surprise for you. We've decided to make a special interview with Acids. We are proud to announce, that Acid Driners are nominated in three categories for this year's Fryderyk Awards. This categories are: "Best Music Production" (Maciej STAROSTA and Aleksander MENDYK (production), Jacek MIŁASZEWSKI, Przemysław WEJMANN and Maciej FEDEK (executive production), "Best Album – Heavy Metal" , and "Best Composer". The ceremony will take place on April, 20th. It will be broadcast by TVP.

Ready, steady, GO!
Acid Drinkers are ready for action! The autumn tour will be continued – the band is going to start the second part of the Verses of Steel Tour.
For that reason, during this tour the second guitar will be played by the band's old friend Wojtek AKA Jankiel, who often worked as the band's backline technician. He also occasionally co-run merchandise stall during gigs.
We would also like to announce, that a variety of interesting bands will make their appearance as support acts during this tour. Chainsow, which will play with Acid's in Gdańsk is only one of them. More dates will be revealed soon, but we can already tell you, that Acid Drinkers will play during this year's Jarocin Festival, a legendary event in Polish music history!
We'll gonna rock!
PS. We dedicate “Verses of Steel Part II” to our friend, Olass, who gave us strength, and who still lives in our hearts.

Acid Drinkers are still alive and kicking. For a good start of this New Year, the band is going to play some concerts in a line-up presented on 13th December in Hala Stulecia. Yes! Titus, Ślimak and Popcorn want to pour you some more acid. The nearest occasion will occur on 11th January, and will be a part of Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy. All the action will take place at Cracow's market square, where a light towards heaven will be sent... and we do have someone there.
We'll also add, that, after winter sloth, some dates will be announced.

There are no words that could express the pain which entered the hearts of many after Aleksander's departure. Tragedy which could not be predicted shocked to the bones...
The circumstances of his death were casual, only the direct cause is temporarily unknown. "No drugs" as his friends confirm. An ambulance and a special group of policemen specialized in drugs arrived to no avail.
He did not suffer... he was asleep...
One has to be born with such a passion towards creating. An absolute frenzy started when he entered the stage. He loved what he was doing. His last album was meant to be the beginning of something big - changes he was to symbolize. Too soon, too young.
For reasons that don't need any explanations the three next concerts (Radom, Kielce and Kalisz) are canceled.
Nonetheless, Popcorn, Ślimak and Titus are still planning to appear on December 13th in Hala Stulecia, Wrocław.
The band and the friends would wish to join in the pain with his family.

Verses of Steel Tour surprises on each step. In respect to big hype concerning band's tour Acid Drinkers decided to make it possible for everybody to take part in their gigs. For that reason Verses of Steel Tour will also take place in December, February and March.
More details about the gigs will be posted on our website, as well as www.makumba.pl. We oblige all those, who were not able, didn't want to or had no possibility of participating in the October's gigs to monitor any information given on the mentioned site.

The Autumn News
To start with - CARTON.pl announced participation of their booth in the upcoming Verses of Steel Tour. Male and female t-shirts, long sleevs, hoodies and other stuff concerning Acids will be available.
Thus we suggest taking more cash to the concerts.
And now for something different. We like academic radios and academic radios seem to like us. Marek Ziemba from Akademickie Radio Centrum again gave us access to an interview with Titus, where he speaks about "Verses f Steel" album, role played by Olass in the band, the "At Oglog" move etc. Although the interview is a little old, it still is a great thing to check out. Look for it in the download section of our site.

First tour dates!
Autumn. Are temperatures far from those in California? Is humidity rate too high? Is dusk trying to race with the closing hours of your local liquor store? No fuckin'way, let them make it till October! In that month Verses of Steel Tour will mark its beginning. Some of the gigs' tour-dates are already known, some other will be known soon, so check-up the site regularly.

Titus murdered his family!!!!
On the last days of July in Lublin the first shootings for Fabryczna Art's movie "AD OGLOG" have been made. The group behind this project is know to acidmaniax for their documentary about Acid Drinkers, i. e.
"Chasing the Acids." In this film Titus plays Robert, a person who killed his own family. After slaughtering it he was sent to a mental asylum, where he meets DOCTOR (Mariusz Jakus) and HIM (Mariusz Saniternik).
Apart for Robert, Doctor and HIM the cast will feature: Monika Babula (Nurse), Mariusz Witkowski (Izabel), Agnieszka Sienkiewicz (Reporter), Łukasz Król (Assistant) and actors from Lublin's theatres: Ryszard Zarewicz (Official), Kinga Waligóra (Warren), Przemek Gąsiorowicz (Sid).
In the Download section you can find an interview with Titus concerning the movie. We recomend it not only because of tastefull outfilt from the set.

In the newest episode of VH1's Rock Show Marcin Bakiewicz'll present Acid Drinkers' new video clip: "Swallow the Needle." Moreover there will be a chance to win their new album signed by Titus and Olass.
Also a gallery from Acid's promotional show that took place on July, 25th in Warsaw will be shown.

New site and Verses Of Steel studio report
We have decided to give the site a new look, which now pleases the eye and rockets the amount of vitamin B. It was created by Maciek (also responsible for www.slimak.art.pl).
What is more, a studio report from the "Verses of Steel" recording session will also make its appearance. You will be able to see the band during their jam sessions, in the studio, at the lake or at the restaurant. You will also hear a great deal of riffs from the upcoming album. "Acidous" after-party in Poznan!
Reportedly opposite extremes have much in common... but not this time. The most rock'n'roll quartet in this part of Europe will turn up in Highway - the most rock'n'roll pub between Bug and Oder river. Band members will add splendor to after-party (Highway Pub - 3 Szyperska Street) by their participation after Tuesday's gig in Poznań (27.11). Inherently it will be a performance extension: you're going to hear plenty of Acids' tracks, watch projections of concerts as well as "Chasing the Acids" report. Show up all of You, who duly dare to say that these several songs you will hear at the concert in Zeppelin Hall are far not enough. After all, "Rock is not enough"...

Let this Autumn time news smack your face
Pretty cold, isn't it? But despite this, we hope to warm you up a little bit. Acid has flooded London recently, as you know well, and we do not mean any terror assault. As a matter of fact Acid Drinkers played gig on the other side of La Manche channel. Here you have short report from this journey brought to all guests of our website by Olass:
"We have just come back from London concert. We have had a little rest and now we would like to share with you our experiences. The trip itself was really wild, but still the most crucial was gig in Underworld. It was one of the wildest gigs Acid played lately. It was crowdy, hot and with loads of maniacs. A top level mosh! Thank you all for coming. We met lots of friends - many thanx to: Wołas, Jacek Miłaszewski, Huck from Underworld, Joanne The Great (for T-shirts) and to all the rest who helped and supported us. Special thanx to people who stood for the whole organization: Przemek and Michał from Megayoga. Yet we know, we will be back soon on in UK, to play more concerts. It was really cool."
Even more cool is hear the following Olass's declaration: "Now we are looking forward to playing further part of our tour in Poland as well as to working over new songs. Yeah, new tracks. We are meeting together with Popcorn almost everyday and creating new stuff. That's all for now - see you on concerts."

Does East Silver Doc Market sound familiar for you?

However, it turns out that it is one of the largest festivals of documentary films from Eastern Europe, which this year's edition will take place in Jihlava (Czech Republic) between 24th and 28th of October.

Concerts in Siedlce and Bydgoszcz cancelled!
We regret to inform you that Acid Drinkers' gigs in Siedlce and Bydgoszcz, that were announced for weekend, will not be held due to national mourning connected with terrible accident in 'Halemba' coalmine. Acids will play in these places at a later date, which will be disclosed as fast as possible. Musicians and Barmy Army crew unite in misery together with families and relatives of victims.

Acids on cinema screen
Projection of Fabryczna ART report 'Chasing the Acids' will take place on 15th of November at 6 PM in ACK 'chatka zaka' in Lublin. Tickets, which cost 5 PLN each, are available in cinema's ticket office.
Besides, tomorrow, on 9th of November, between 9 and 10 PM you will have opportunity both to listen on 'Centrum' academic radio how the report was being created and to win several invitations for its projection. Interview with Titus will be an additional attraction!
You can catch 'Centrum' radio broadcasting station around Lublin on 98,2 FM. Inhabitants of other places are welcome to listen to online broadcast.

We feel ourselves honored to introduce you to brand new, still fresh, site about top-notch polish metal band Acid Drinkers.
Join us and feel free to wander across all nooks 'n' crannies which brim with acid as well as unbounded power capabilities, superbly laced with pretty large dose of unique sense of humor. You�ll gonna find here everything that may satisfy needs of your acid soul � loads of information, curiosities and other stuff related to the band. Moreover, we encourage you, after any hard day, to leave aside your daily grind by entering our forum, where you may exchange your gig impressions and remarks concerning Acids with other Acidmaniacs.

What's new with Acids
Almost 50-minute concert was recorded this year during Metalmania for the needs of DVD compilation "Metalmania 2006". Over 3500 fans were treated by Acids to numbers from elder repertoire such as: "The Joker", "Poplin Twist" or "I Fuck the Violence". However, the band did not forget to play some tracks from their last album, and also, the newest cover of Johnny Cash � "Ring of fire".
We�re awaiting the new longplay impatiently.
Everybody is invited to the gig that will be held on the 1st of April at "CK Zamek" in Poznan. It definitely won't be a standard performance, as we're gonna celebrate along with the band 10th anniversary of "Infernal connection" release � an album, which became a part of polish heavy metal music history for good. You will surely sense some acid in the air � surprises are also probable. Information about tickets will be given soon
